6 International students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta visited three Muhammadiyah Schools: Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo (20/2), SMA Muhammadiyah Solo (22/2), and SMP Muhammadiyah (24/2). 4 students received Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) scholarship while 2 students received Darmasiswa Republik Indonesia (DRI) scholarship. These students come from various countries: Phetxomphou Pongpanya (Laos), Najib Bwanika (Uganda), Hassan Khamis Hassan (Tanzania), Stanley Chiremba (Zimbabwe), Gyorgy Nagy and Lila Hodi (Hungaria). Their visit to the school was part of Bahasa Indonesia Course Program (BIPA). The aim of the visiting program is to give the opportunity for the students to engage with Indonesian students using Bahasa Indonesia. All students in the visited-school were happy because they have new experience interacting with foreigners. Similarly, the student of KNB and DRI were enthusiastic since they can introduce their culture and practice Bahasa Indonesia at the same time.
