Around one hundred and seventy students of international programs from year 2016 and 2017 attended the seminar on mobility which was conducted by Bureau of Collaborations and International Affairs on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2 pm in Siti Walidah seminar room. The seminar was opened by the Head of International Program, Hepy Adityarini, Ph.D. who delivered an opening remark about the importance of learning and appreciating other culture especially when studying abroad. Moreover, for September intake, she asked students to decide their preferred university and contact the secretary of each international program and BKUI immediately. The special guest invited to the seminar was Merry Kurniawati, the Director of Nathaniel Global, an education agent which becomes UMS official partner in assisting UMS students with their overseas study. In her presentation, she informed students about the recent collaborations that UMS has with universities in South Korea and Australia such as Busan University of Foreign Studies, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, and Queensland University Technology (QUT). She also mentioned that currently there are two management students taking double degree program in QUT. Another information that she emphasized in her speech was that students are advised to prepare in advance all the required documents for Visa making. At the end of the seminar there was a sharing session with M.H Dwi Nur Arif and Rizki Roudhotul Amalia who took mobility program in National Taipei University of Nursing and Public Health Science and Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam dan Alam Sekitar (Civil Engineering) UTHM, respectively. Based on his experience, Arif reminded students to prepare all the required documents for Visa making as early as possible, and Rizki said that students will find their study more enjoyable because of the more advanced technology and facilities in foreign universities.
