On Sunday, March 11, 2018 two lecturers and twelve students from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) arrived in Solo to start their mobility program in UMS. The following day, they visited Faculty of Law UMS to have a discussion with the Dean, Lecturers and Law student representatives. In the meeting, the Dean of Law Faculty, Professor Khudzaefah Dimyati presented his material about Higher Education Institutions policies, while the Law lecturer, Nunik Nurhayati, SH.MH, discussed about environmental law and policies. Dr. Sharifuzah Osman from UUM explained about the best Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and their policies. In a separate room, students of UMS and UUM shared their thoughts about some issues. Moh. Indra (2017 UMS Student Achievement Awards) delivered a depth understanding of Pancasila (five principles), the Indonesian state Ideology, and Resky (2018 Law Faculty Student Achievement Awards) talked about free-visa policy. Presentations from UUM students were delivered by Nor Syahirah Amelia and Nur Adibah, Syafiq Syukri and Khairul Helmi who discussed issues about National Blue Ocean Strategy and Malaysian Housing policies respectively. On the third day, UUM students and lecturers continued their activities in Universitas Slamet Riyadi (UNISRI), while on the last day they visited PPRBM (Pusat Pengembangan dan Pelatihan Rehabilitasi Bersumberdaya Masyarakat)/ Community-Based Rehabilitation-Development and Training Centre (CBR-DTC) Solo, together with lecturers from UMS and UNISRI. The head of CBR-DTC Solo, Kristian, explained that the organizationís purpose is to raise peopleís awareness about disable peopleís rights and problems they encounter in the society, to design programs to increase their well-being and to invite community to contribute in the programs.
